We are a small but perfectly formed independent village store and Post Office Local situated in the lovely Lincolnshire village of Bassingham, in Withamside, North Kesteven. We are close to the City of Lincoln and the Market Town of Newark in Nottinghamshire.  We are also your local Amazon Hub.

We proudly provide goods and services to our local community as this store has done since the late 1700s.

As well as stocking all manner of general grocery items we also have a great range of greetings cards and giftware.

Fresh, seasonal, high quality and where possible, local produce are all important to us and we welcome orders for newspapers, bread, pies and vegetables. We always try and ensure a stock of everything you might need.  From Apples to Zoflora, Anchovies to Zebra Print pens – we have it all! We aim to have something for everyone!

We offer a free, local delivery service for groceries six days per week.

(We had Deliveroo before there was even a Deliveroo!!!)  All we ask is a minimum order value of £15.00 (excluding alcohol, tobacco products and postal services, although all these items can be added to a delivery.)

We are open seven days a week – with both the shop and Post Office counters open for the entirety of these hours:

Monday to Saturday 7.00am to 6.00pm
Sunday 7.00am to 1.00pm
